When you use our matching form, we collect the details you give us: your name, your ZIP code or city, a description of your situation, your preferred language, and a phone number or email so we (and matched pros) can reach you. We do not ask for, and you should not send us, medical history, immigration documents, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal records.
How we use it
We use your information to connect you with vetted, insured local water-damage pros and to follow up about your request. By submitting the form and checking the consent box, you agree that DrySpan and matched pros may contact you about your request by phone, text, or email, including by automated means, even if your number is on a Do-Not-Call list. Consent is not a condition of using any service, and you can opt out at any time by telling us or the pro to stop.
Who we share it with
We share your request with a limited number of local pros so they can respond. We do not sell your information for unrelated advertising. Service providers who help us operate the site (such as hosting and email delivery) may process data on our behalf under confidentiality terms.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you and ask us to delete it. You can opt out of further contact at any time. You can choose not to submit the form and simply read the guides.
Data retention and security
We keep request information only as long as needed to provide the matching service and meet legal obligations, then delete it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, though no method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure.
